Scottish Rite Meet and Greet: Scottish Rite Valley of Portsmouth Dover September 19th 7:00 p.m. (best to arrive at 6:30 p.m.) at the Portsmouth Masonic Temple. This is an opportunity for Blue Lodge Members to find out what Scottish Rite can do in assisting a Lodge with Degrees and other activities within the Lodge. Example would be presenting the History of the Master Mason Degree in full costume along with the officers of the Lodge. It is also a chance for those interested in SR or already members to meet brothers and ask questions about what there is available in Scottish Rite. Please RSVP to: firstname.lastname@example.org
Master Masons Class: Gideon Lodge Kingston NH -September 20th 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. The Master’s Class is designed for those who will, or might, work their way to the East but also contains important information for any Master Mason. All are welcome to join the circle for an open and free discussion. This is not a classroom setting with a lecture. It promises not to be boring! This month topic is – “Preparing You For Your Year”. This class will discuss Preparing For Your Year which is coming up quickly. Even if this coming year is not yours, it’s necessary to think of all that is needed. It comes quickly.
If you are to be installed into the East this year (or anytime for that matter) Who will you select to install you,
- What about the other officers, who will install them,
- What date and time, what about food, entertainment
- Is there a program, what details will be listed, who will print,
- What are your plans for Masonic programs for the upcoming year, Veterans, Special Ladies, Table Lodge
- What are your plans to have all involved, ladies, children, the public
- How will you stay in touch, with your Lodge members, your officers, the Grand Lodge, your District Officers.
- What committees will you have, who will be on them, when will they meet, how will they report
- What will you do if one of your Officers has to leave the line for a valid reason
- Is your Lodge financially sound, how do you know
- What will make your year special ???

Ladies at The Table: Scottish Rite Valley of Portsmouth Dover September 26th 7:00 p.m. at the Portsmouth Masonic Temple A special event will be a Ladies at the Table Evening For those not familiar this will be an event celebrating our ladies where five (5) courses and drink will be served during the fun filled event. There will be babysitters on site for those with kids. Arrive by 6:30 p.m. $7 a person $11 a couple. All Master Masons and their ladies invited. Please RSVP to: firstname.lastname@example.org
Annual October Open House: All lodges, statewide, including St. John’s Lodge #1 Saturday October 18, 2014, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Masonic lodges across the state will be holding their annual fall open house. All are welcomed- this is a “free” event – there is no charge for admission, tours, etc. If you have ever been curious about the inside of a Masonic lodge this is the perfect to take a look.
