Masonic Veteran’s Night

On August 29, 2018, St. John’s Lodge No.1 and St. Andrew’s Lodge No. 56 will be holding their annual Joint-Veterans Night with dinner being served at 6:00 and both lodges celebrating their veteran members of 25 years, 50 years, and beyond!  This is a semi-public event.

Masters Class Back On for July

 

Please Note – the cancellation notice for July’s Master Mason Class has been rescinded: the class will take place on its originally scheduled day Wednesday July 25th at Star in the East Lodge (Exeter, NH): the Master’s Classes  schedule for the remainder of 2018 is as follows:

St. John’s Lodge No. 1 Past Master’s Night

 

This Wednesday, June 27th, is Past Master’s Night at St. John’s Lodge.  Dinner will be served at 6:00 p.m., Lodge will begin at 7:00 p.m. [Master Masons only].  RSVP (if you scroll down two posts and click on the RED  “click here” button, you can make your reservation on line, now).

In remembrance…..

St. John’s Sunday, June 24th

 

Brothers,   Please reserve Sunday morning  June 24th, 2018, to attend our annual march  from the William Pitt Tavern in Strawbery Banke, to St. John’s Church on Chapel Street.  This is a St. John’s lodge  tradition goes back well over a century and a half.  Brothers of St. John’s Lodge will be joined by members of N.H. lodges from across the eastern half of the state and by officers of  the Grand Lodge of New Hampshire.   Coffee and doughnuts will be served starting at 8:00 a.m. outside the William Pitt Tavern.  The “Masonic march” will begin to assembled at 8:30 a.m. and step-off for the March to St. John’s Church at 8:45 a.m.  The return march to the Tavern will take place immediately after services at the church.  A BBQ will be held at the Portsmouth Masonic Temple (351 Middle Street) immediately following the return march.
